Head of Sales - LMS/Edtech Vendor

Package: $160,000-$200,000 + Super + $250-300k OTE uncapped
The Role:
The Head of Sales will be responsible for managing the ANZ sales function and executing in alignment with the business strategy to deliver measurable growth in target markets. This role will require leveraging extensive sales experience and strategic thinking to plan and achieve company goals.
Responsibilities:
1.Develop and Execute Sales Strategy:
Craft and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth and achieve sales targets.
Collaborate with the marketing team to align sales initiatives with overall business objectives.
Analyse market trends and adjust strategies to meet changing market and competitive conditions.
2. Lead Sales Operations:
Oversee the entire sales cycle, from lead generation to closing deals.
Optimise sales processes and workflows to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Utilise CRM tools to track and report on sales performance metrics and KPIs.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing sales team.
Foster a collaborative and results-oriented sales culture.
Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to ensure team members achieve their targets.
4. Client Relationship Management:
Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
Develop strategies to expand the customer base and enhance customer retention.
Act as a trusted advisor to clients, providing insights and solutions to meet their needs.
Ideally you’ll have:
Proven track record of at least 3-5 years in a Senior SaaS sales role
At least 3 years of experience leading and managing a business development function.
Deep understanding of the EdTech, LMS, or HR Tech industry is highly preferred.
Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with the ability to drive measurable results.
Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
Experience with implementing sales development and analysis tools.
